How a year changes...........

I can't believe it has been over a year since I have wrote on this page. Many things have changed in that year. But I won't discuss the bad as it is far behind me now. I will say I have gained many new friends this year alone. Although I no longer render I have moved on to a different area of talent. I am now an Official member of the Rebel Legion with 2 different Jedi costumes. My wookiee costume of my SWG wookiee Kallabeccani is 85% complete and will soon be the first female wookiee to be made for the Rebel Legion. And speaking of wookiees the biggest surprise of my life came to me back in July as Peter Mayhew added me to Facebook and has been in contact with me about my costume. He has been following my progress and is very impressed. And before any of you say that it might not be him.... it is him as I have also spoke with him and his wife Angie. I have also became fiends with Jake Lloyd (the young Anakin). He is from Indiana and often comes back for visits.

I have been to many different Conventions including my first ever Dragon Con this year. That was totally amazing! I have gotten to see many costumes, Met Yaya Han, Timothy Zahn and a lot of crazy-awesome friends in costume! I even walked in the parade with 3 layers of linen in 90 degree Atlanta heat! Even before Dragon Con I started dating a gentleman who also costumes and is doing a custom concept bounty hunter from the Thrawn Series. Not sure where it will go but we are enjoying our time together.

And all the friends I have gained! WOW! It early feels like my favorite time of the year each weekend..... HALLOWEEN! Now that I am in the Rebel Legion I am official to troop with them and the 501st at charity events not just Cons. Soon I will be submitting the two costumes I have in to the Dark Empire to see about dual membership. I also have many other costumes on my mind including Bellatrix LeStrange, Kitty Pryde and many other 501st or Rebel Legion costumes and even a possible Mando! Yep I have been a busy girl.

Oh Nearly forgot lol I got a new puppy! A red and white AKC Siberian Husky. My 4-Hers have adopted her as the mascot of the dog club and have watched her grow since she was 5 weeks old. She is now a healthy 40 pound 7 month old pup lol. I have always had Shelties all my life and Pomeranians for the last 10 years so having a husky is a totally different ordeal.
